Simone Pearce

Born in 1991, Simone Pearce is an Australian role model. She began her equestrian journey at the tender age of 2. At this point in her life she could already ride more confidently than she could run. Simone was always determined to be a top equestrian athlete and at the age of 17, Simone had saved enough money to relocate to Europe in order to pursue her dream of becoming an elite rider and trainer.

Simone worked tirelessly in Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium; however, it wasn’t until she met now long-term friend and mentor Sabine Rubin where her fortunes truly changed. Sabine saw a diamond in the rough, who with the right cutting and polishing could be an international star. Little did they know at the time, what the future had in store for them….

This led her to the internationally renowned stables of Helgstrand Dressage for three years; the Danish mecca of performance horses. She had tremendous repeated success from 2017-2019 at the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, finishing in the final on two horses each year. The highlight being 2017, where she finished 4th in the 5 Year Old Final on Casablanca. Simone will be representing Australia in the 2020 World Breeding Championships for Young Horses on three stallions from Gestüt Sprehe.

Simone was determined to progress her Grand Prix career and through good fortune Simone and Sabine found their way back together again, with Simone leading the Gestüt Sprehe dressage team, proudly showing many of their exquisite stallions. Simone has already had six international CDI wins in 2020.

Simone has quickly formed a strong partnership with her Grand Prix mount and Olympic hopeful Destano. Having only come together in early 2020, Simone has managed to break the Australian Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special record, placing her sights firmly on Tokyo 2021.

Simone is a wonderful role model for riders all across the world and she has a true passion and desire to help others, just as people have helped her throughout her career. We are so proud to work with Simone and can’t wait to watch her journey unfold.
